Anker AB wins new contract on maintenance of

Norrköping light rail systems

Aarsleff Rail’s subsidiary in Sweden, Anker AB has been responsible for the maintenance of the Municipality of Norrköping’s entire network of tram lines and railways since 2003. The contract has again been awarded to Anker AB. As a new feature transformer substation maintenance has been included in the contract that runs into May 2020 with an option for two more years.

 

The contract with the Municipality of Norrköping comprises all maintenance and necessary repair and renewal, including inspection and control of the systems, greasing, welding, grinding, snow removal, signalling and catenary on a total stretch of 40 kilometres of light rail system and 35 km of railway. In addition, the contract comprises 73 and 76 turnouts respectively as well as reconstruction of track.
