Light Rail Systems
Aarlseff Rail has expertise in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, and have worked on projects of various sizes, from establishing new light rail systems to maintaining existing ones.
In Denmark we have been involved in the construction of Aarhus Letbane and are now responsible for the maintenance of the 117-km-long network. For Odense Light Rail, we are also responsible for maintaining the 14.5-km-long, double-track line. Currently, we are engaged in the 28-km-long Greater Copenhagen Light Rail, where–in cooperation with Siemens–we are designing and building track, catenary, power supply, and stations.
From projects in Sweden and Norway, we have also applied our specialist skills in building, rebuilding, operating, and maintaining light rail systems. Projects we have been involved in include the light rail systems in Trondheim, Norrköping, Lund, and Göteborg.
