Types of Installations
Aarsleff Rail has extensive experience in working with signalling and interlocking. On every project, our in-depth knowledge of different installation types adds value for both clients and partners.
During track renewal projects, we dismantle signaling and interlocking components—such as balises and axle counters—before construction begins. After the track work is completed, we reinstall, test, and commission the systems to ensure full functionality before reopening the section. Our team includes certified personnel for the testing and commissioning of all types of interlocking systems.
Through ongoing maintenance contracts, we support customers in managing a wide range of signaling and interlocking systems—from older relay and PLC-based systems to Automatic Train Control and the latest ERTMS systems. Our maintenance tasks include inspections, fault prevention, component replacement, and regular standby response in the event of malfunctions.
Working on electrical installations in or near railway environments requires specialized skills and certifications. Aarsleff Rail handles all types of high-voltage electrical projects related to railways and adjacent infrastructure. Our experience includes the installation and upgrading of:
