Aarsleff Rail has extensive experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of catenary systems. We have delivered catenary work on a wide variety of projects across Scandinavia and Germany, with competencies covering all aspects of traction current systems, including: 

  • Design, planning and construction of new catenary systems, including installation of foundations and masts 
  • Expansion, rebuilding, maintenance and adjustment of existing traction current installations 
  • Permanent and temporary protection of installations and machinery

Wide range of capabilities

We work across different traction current systems, from 750 V light rail systems, to 1,650 V on Copenhagen’s suburban lines, to 15 kV on Swedish and German railways, and 25 kV on Danish railways. 

Our electricians and catenary technicians are certified through approved training programs and courses for working on catenary systems. With advanced equipment specifically designed for catenary work, we ensure high-quality results and efficient installation.
