Innherredsveien

Innherredsveien in Trondheim was once a European highway and serves as the main eastern access road to the city. It has since been downgraded to a county road and will now be redeveloped into an environmental street focusing on public transport, cycling, and pedestrian infrastructure.

Environmental Street

Innherredsveien is a major infrastructure upgrade, transforming it into a modern, two-lane environmental street. The project includes:

Upgrading municipal utility networks

Installing OPI channels and new street lighting

Building approximately 1,300 meters of road, sidewalks, and cycle paths

Establishing new metrobus stations

Extensive landscaping work and the creation of recreational spaces
