Project Engineer
Elin Gustafsson
Elin is 24 years old and works as a project engineer at Aarsleff Rail. She first joined the company during her final semester at university, completing her internship there. After graduating, she started working full-time at Aarsleff Rail and has now been with the company for two years.
As a project engineer, she supports and coordinates technical and administrative tasks within projects. Her responsibilities range from monitoring production and finances to handling documentation and reporting.
Most recently, Elin has been involved in projects such as Helsingborg C – new platform for passenger exchange and track replacement between Bjuv and Mörarp. She is currently working on track and switch replacements in Äng and new railway yard lighting in Kristianstad, Växjö, and Ystad. During the summer of 2024, she also collaborated with her Danish colleagues on the Aalborg Station project, which she describes as an exciting experience where she gained valuable knowledge.
Elin describes the work environment at Aarsleff Rail as positive. “We have an open culture where everyone is encouraged to contribute and share ideas. This makes you feel involved and gives everyone the opportunity to make an impact.” What she appreciates most about Aarsleff Rail is her fantastic and knowledgeable colleagues, from whom she learns something new every day.
