Track Renewal at Langå Station
At Langå Station, the railway line to Viborg branches off from the main double-track line between Aarhus and Aalborg. In 2024, Aarsleff Rail carried out a full rebuild of the station, including its tracks, platforms, turnouts, and drainage systems. The upgrade supports higher train speeds and the transition to the new European signalling system.

Aarsleff Rail was responsible for all railway safety and signalling work during the project.
Works Located Away from Langå
In addition to the main works at Langå Station, the contract also covered the removal of four turnouts at Mundelstrup Station. At DSB’s new workshop facility in Årslev, we installed two turnouts on the main track as well as three additional turnouts leading into the workshop area.
